Betsy's Coup

I'm staging a coup. I just checked the blog stats to discover some of you are actually still coming to see what's up with our family yet are disappointed month after month since Gregg has officially abandoned this project. I'm taking over until he notices. I say it takes until at least two months, but we'll just have to wait and see. In his defense, he is actually super busy. But still.

Things in our lives have been crazy since The Bean has become mobile. We have been staying super busy between traveling this fall. Cape Cod for Allison's wedding without Ian. Evacuating with Ian to New Orleans for Hurricane Ike and Steve's wedding. Ian's first music festival, Austin City Limits. Cleveland for Thanksgiving. Skiing in Utah for Christmas. Our trips made the end of the year fly by, and we're only now getting back into our normal routine.

Ian rocks. He is so damn cute and sweet. We are constantly amazed by what he can do himself and how proud we are to watch him slowly turn into a little kid. He loves pushing buttons, digging in dirt, and animals. We started swim lessons a few weeks ago, and he is hilarious in his bodysuit. He loves being outside whether walking around the neighborhood or playing at the park. He now goes down slides himself. We're moving to a new house in the Heights this spring so I'm sure he is going to go absolutely crazy having a patch of grass and dirt to call his own. Here are a few pictures for your viewing enjoyment.

Chillin' on the blanket at Austin City Limits.

Ian was a bumble bee for Halloween. After playing in the snow during our trip to Park City, Utah.
